Little Brother

A very cool book shared to me by a friend. Couldn't put it down!

AND it's free!!
"Little Brother is a scarily realistic adventure about how homeland security technology could be abused to wrongfully imprison innocent people. A teenage hacker-turned-hero pits himself against the government to fight for his basic freedoms. This book is action-packed with tales of courage, technology, and demonstrations of digital disobedience as the technophile’s civil protest."

Debunking world myths with great stats

Hans Rosling presents some amazing statistics that show the gap between the third world and others is not as great as we think.

Interesting and funny.

Soup is my favourite food

There are certainly a lot of other foods that I really really like - e.g., trifle, hot chip sandwiches with tomato sauce, others that I can't think of right now but soup is always my first choice if it's available.

Ahh the joy of soup.

I know moisturiser is good for my hands

but I really hate how long it takes to sink in and my hands are all greasy for awhile.

Wish there was a brand that was just absorbed straight away.

Wow - I really want one of these

Now this is cool.

A spiral staircase wine cellar in your floor.

What could be better?

I like ginger beer

I really really like it - so I'm going to make it - soon.

I'll likely follow one of the recipes online at first then tweak as I go
That's pretty much it. Will keep me posted.

Update: Anita found this really GREAT site about the process - this will be the one to work from

Hello future me

I'm using this as a vehicle to aid my memory.  Other's may read it but I'm not expecting them to always understand what I've written.

Sometimes I may not even understand what I've written.....

But hopefully it will be a jog for my recognition-memory.

Yup.
